The Travessa Transfronterera between La Seu d'Urgell and Sant Julià de Lòria in the Principality of Andorra joined the solidarity initiative ‘one km, one life’ of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation and the 260 participants joined together for a common cause: to improve access to education for children in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal.
The runners who took the start could choose between two routes. The longer one was 21 kilometres and almost 1,500 metres of positive height gain, while those who wanted a shorter distance opted for a 9-kilometre route with a positive height gain of 669 metres. There was also a 9-kilometre popular walk.
