GKA Freestyle Kite World Cup – Dunkerque

Thrills were high with the Freestyle Kite World Cup at the historic French North Sea beach of Dunkirk. The kitesurfers were eager to get on the sea and perform the best manoeuvres.

The breeze was getting stronger and the waves were gaining intensity to act as take-off ramps. In the women's field, although some names were missing, the news was the return of Spain's Rita Arnaus, who had been out with injury. She came back with the desire to shake up the event and had a fantastic performance with a second place, just behind the world champion, the Brazilian Buna Kajiya.
