The Andorran ski resort of Grandvalira has demonstrated time and again its ability to organise top-level competitions. Its success has earned it a permanent place on the international calendar of the International Ski Federation. Its track record includes six European Cups, four European Cup finals, three World Cups and two finals.

The Avet de Soldeu piste will host a new event of the men's European Cup in 2025. It will take place on 3 and 4 February and 90 skiers from 22 countries will take part in the giant ski discipline.
