Is a short documentary which tells the story of Aleix and his family. Aleix is a happy little boy, affected by the MECP-2 Duplication Syndrome. A rare genetic disorder which mainly affects boys and is characterized by several severe symptoms such as severe intellectual disability and impaired motor function.

This 28th of February it is International Rare Disease Day. This documentary is produced by Carrota Media to create extra awareness for the MECP-2 Duplication Syndrome on this special day.

In the informative documentary the syndrome is explained, but also the struggles, challenges and uncertainties that Aleix his parents are dealing with on a daily base. Also it gives a good impression of how doctors, professionals at school and different organizations within Andorra are doing as much as they can to get the best out of Aleix.
