The Absa Cape Epic, considered the best mountain bike stage race in the world, is back for its seventeenth edition after a break forced by the pandemic.
Nobody wanted to miss an event of this calibre in Cape Town, the capital of South Africa, which welcomed the 600 bikers as they deserved. Eight days of competition with 620 kilometres and 15,350 metres of elevation gain with steep mountains, rocky trails and hair-raising descents for the participating teams. A real challenge in which alliances, technical skills and the physical and mental condition of the riders were put to the test.
