We begin this edition with the strong emotions left by the eighth edition of the 4Islands MTB held in Croatia. A five-day race that forms part of the Epic Series. The 200 teams had to cover almost 300 kilometres and 6,150 metres of elevation gain on roads and trails on four Croatian islands. The beauty of nature and the toughness of some of the climbs were just some of the ingredients of an event that has become an established fixture on the calendar and is not to be missed.
The MTB World Cup will be held in Andorra from 22 to 27 August. The Bike Park of the ski resort of Pal Arinsal is already preparing to welcome the best bikers on the world calendar. The event will come after the Glasgow World Cup with three disciplines: short track, downhill and cross-country. For the vast majority of riders, these are their favourites. A real acid test for the parish of La Massana because in 2024 it will host the World Championships.
