The BMX Racing World Cup kicked off in Turkey with the first two rounds of the world calendar. Speed and good riding are the two main ingredients that the riders must have. The show is on and we will see if the French Sylvain Andre and the Dutch Laura Smulders, current champions, can maintain this label.

In this edition we will be celebrating International Bicycle Day. To do so, we will go to Andorra to attend the first edition of the popular pedaleada, one of the actions that is part of the "Aprèn a Rodar" campaign promoted by the government of the small Pyrenean country with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of cycling as a sustainable means of transport for young and old alike.

From Andorra we will go to Cerdanya to present the eighth edition of the Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour. A cycling tour that runs through the mountain passes of this region of the Catalan Pyrenees. It will take place on 22 July and is an event that has become consolidated in the national and international calendar. Riders will be able to choose between three routes of 89, 145 and 185 kilometres with the mountain passes of Font Romeu, la Llosa, la Creu and la Massella as the protagonists of a day not to be missed.
