In this report we packed our bags and flew to Cape Town, South Africa. In this paradisiacal country there is an epic stage race, the spectacular and wild Absa Cape Epic. In its fourteenth edition, the legendary African Mountain Bike race travels through the Western Cape of South Africa for 8 days of spectacular days for all 1200 bikers, both pro and amateur. More than 15,000m of accumulated gradient over the 691km of the total route make this stage race one of the best known in the world. Proof of this is the number of professional cyclists who come to it like the Spaniards Jose António Hermida and Purito Rodriguez.
